Attack Mechanism PIC
The Attack Mechanism PIC controlled our balloon popping mechanism, a scissor arm actuated by a servo. The Attack Mechanism PIC received attack commands from the HZV Receiver PIC (using the SPI standard for synchronous serial communication) and commanded the servo accordingly. It also insured that the popping mechanism was not extended for longer than 2 seconds and that discrete button presses were required to repeatedly deploy the arm.
